Zebicon is now distributing precision fixtures for measurement and quality control.
The German company Witte develops and produces modular positioning and fixturing systems. Their patented Alufix system has been on the market for more than 25 years and is now being distributed by Zebicon.
Flexible and modular
Witte's Alufix fixturing system consists of a number of standard components that can be assembled in several ways. The system is based on basic elements such as cubes, rods and plates that are connected, adjusted and clamped to the desired shape.
CEO Jeppe Laursen explains: "Alufix from Witte is a fixture-building system that is extremely flexible and can be used repeatedly for all types of tasks. The many possible combinations mean that the fixtures do not only cover current needs but also future ones, as the modules can be reused and combined with other elements."
A perfect match
Witte fixture systems are especially good for uniform placement of parts for measurement, both tactile and optical. When the opportunity came, it was not difficult for Jeppe Laursen to decide for the agency.
"With Witte's fixturing solutions we offer a truly powerful product for many purposes. But our primary focus is of course the synergy with our automated ScanBox solutions from GOM," he explains.
In addition to being used for measuring processes, the Witte Alufix is also suitable for assembling and alignment, gluing and welding processes, milling and laser machining. "Witte's products perfectly suit our other activities: Intelligent solutions, great flexibility and high quality!" concludes Jeppe Laursen.
