On May 14-15, the measurement company Zebicon is hosting the 'HandsOnMetrology Tour' at Moesgaard Museum, with two conferences on 3D scanning.

In May, Zebicon hits to the road and hosts a conference on 3D scanning. The conference is called "HandsOnMetrology Tour" and aims to inform small and medium-sized businesses, museums, and artists about how they can use 3D scanning in everyday life.

The conference features presentations of different scanning technologies, workshops with live demonstrations of the equipment and examples of practical applications.

Two targeted conferences

Zebicon organizes two conferences, each with its own focus, and the location at Moesgaard Museum is no coincidence. The museum regularly uses 3D scanning as part of their innovative and interactive exhibitions, and the theme of the conference on May 14 is design, art, and cultural heritage.

The May 15th conference is aimed at the design, quality control, and documentation industry, and is specifically targeted at design and development departments and quality professionals.

"3D scanning can be used for a myriad of applications across industries, but it can be difficult to accommodate everyone's interests and knowledge level at one conference. Therefore, we have chosen to organize two conferences, each with its own focus area," says Katja Ramsing, Sales Manager at Zebicon.
