T-SCAN hawk is a portable and precise 3D laser scanner. With the software ZEISS INSPECT Optical 3D it is a complete handheld solution for scanning and documentation of surface geometry. The intuitive use of the system makes the workflow simple from scanning to evaluation and reporting. Using a red laser marker, it is easy to adjust the distance to get the perfect measurement result.

The 3D scanner is part of the HandsOnMetrology product portfolio. It is designed to collect 3D data wherever you need it. The compact T-SCAN hawk 2 is suitable for reverse engineering and quality control even in harsh and hard to reach environments.

The T-SCAN hawk 2 is a flexible system that can switch between scanning mode and satellite mode in the same measurement task. The two modes allow for measuring different levels of detail. This means that with this scanner you can measure even fine details and deep holes and achieve maximum precision in 3D measurement.

Satellite mode

The T-SCAN hawk 2 is the first handheld scanner with the new satellite mode, which is used for measuring larger items up to 4000 mm.

This feature ensures high measurement accuracy without the use of photogrammetry-coded markers. The laser grid makes it easy to position the scanner correctly.

Scanning mode

With the T-SCAN hawk 2, it is easy to switch between different tasks. With the scanning mode, it is possible to measure everything from small parts, fine details, large parts and deep holes to hard-to-reach areas. 

The laser scanner supports measuring a wide range of materials and surfaces, including dark and shiny surfaces.

T-SCAN hawk 2 has multiple applications within reverse engineering, maintenance, and quality control. The system is suited for both indoor and outdoor scanning as well as small details and large parts.

ZEISS INSPECT Optical 3D is a free software for analysis, dimensioning, and inspection of scanned data from different scanners, coordinate measurement machines and other metrology systems.
